SCA Election Campaign 2012-2013

    This was my first time running for a position on the Student Council Association. I specifically ran for Chaplain which is a position that many people might not be familiar with. In my school, the Chaplain leads the devotional time at our meetings, communicates with the Student Life Leader, and collaborates on events that will promote spiritual growth. Also the Chaplain supports the student body, and offers ideas to organize activities to promote character development and spiritual growth within our school. This was exactly what I wanted to do for my school, but as it was my first election I struggled to mount an effective campaign.  In the end, I gathered some of my friends who volunteered to help, and we developed a campaign video.

   I was elected for the position which was a very rewarding moment for me. As the only sophomore on the team, I ran into some difficulties. However, in the end I was able to fulfill my duties with the help of my peers and my teachers.
